Inspection Requests: Contractor must be on location during the time of inspection. If an inspection is requested and contractor/employee is not present will result in a FAILED inspection and $50 fee for re-inspection.

Requirements for Various City of Wharton Permits:

Any electrical, plumbing or mechanical work/permits must be obtained by a State Licensed Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical Contractor. EXCEPTION: A homeowner can obtain an electrical, plumbing or mechanical permit with proof of a Homestead Exemption.
